In the past twelve years as a member of Oliver Paipoonge municipal Council I have been proud to be your voice, bringing the concerns of our residents to the Council table. Looking forward to the next term of council and the challenges and opportunities our community has ahead of us, I am asking for your continued support.

I bring the necessary skills and experience and have been an effective, dedicated member of our Council.

I have 30 years of experience as a business owner and employer, operating a successful dairy and crop farm. My wife Kerri (Edwards) Kamphof and I are lifelong residents of Oliver Paipoonge and we and our three children are active in our community.

If reelected I will continue to:

• Be a conscientious manager of your tax dollars.
• Work with Council and Municipal staff towards economic development in business, industry and agriculture
• Support all Council members to fully research and examine all available information before making decisions.
• Encourage Council to be proactive in lobbying the provincial government on behalf of local residents and businesses.
• Continue to invest in our roads and municipal assets with a clear plan to make the most efficient use of your taxes
• Be open and accessible to all community members, and be transparent with all information within limits of the Municipal Act
  
• Be objective, fair, inclusive, and fully committed in all matters that come before Council.

Campaign Signs

Thanks to everyone who has agreed to support me by allowing me to place a sign on your lawn or driveway. I am proud to say every sign has been placed with the permission of the home or business owner it is in front of. I believe that is important, as it is a true reflection of the level of support I have in the community. Once again, a huge thanks to everyone who has requested signs or allowed me to place them when I asked. It is great to get out and speak to a lot of you while I pound signs into the ground. If you see any of my signs blowing away in the wind or otherwise in disrepair, please email me at bernie@berniekamphof.com or call or text my cell 807 626-4733 and I will get out there and fix the problem. We will be collecting the signs within a day or two after the election, if one is on your property please leave it out and I will retrieve it then.
